  • What does a custom paint job cost?

  • Can you repaint your own car?

    If you want to do it yourself, you'll need a well-ventilated area where dust and dirt won't fly onto the wet car and ruin the new paint job while it's drying.  You'll also need a spray gun, primer, and glossy car paint. For a professional-looking job, you'll need specialized tools and a lot of time and patience.

  • Why are autobody shop repairs so expensive?

    Their is a lot of materials that go into the auto body work of any vehicle.  The other factors to consider are how expensive auto paint is by itself, and the onerous costs that an auto body repair shop is subject to such as pollution costs, waste disposal fees, environmental regulations, and keeping up to date on the latest manufacturer advancements.  Remember economics, supply and demand, your paying for the time, knowledge and experience the auto body shop brings to the job.

  • What is the difference between autobody and mechanic?

    The main difference between the two is that auto body shops have large painting facilities.  You likely won't find in a spray booth at a mechanic shop.  Mechanic shops have tools and facilities needed to repair parts of vehicles that you can't see, like brakes, the engine, as well as tools to repair wheels and transmissions.  An auto body shop works on the auto body of a vehicle.

  • How to pick the right autobody shop?

    Keep in mind that it's not uncommon for estimates to be different when getting estimates from different body shops.  Pay attention to word of mouth.  Comparing estimates from different body shops is a good way to keep cost down and negotiate.  Remember to ask questions.

  • Will the autobody shop use OEM parts to repair my vehicle?

    The decisions of what autobody parts to use will start with your insurance company.  If you insurance company asks us to use aftermarket our even used part to repair your vehicle we will use the parts they request.  You should ask the autobody shop before the work begins if OEM  part or after market parts will be used in the repair of your vehicle.

  • How long is the warranty of the autobody shop repair?

    We will answer this question in two parts.  First, the parts warranty for the autobody shop repair that is being done will vary by manufacturer and secondly, we warranty all of our autobody shop workmanship.
